the closing happened, albeit annoying because the other attorney is one of those jackasses where what he needs to do is more important than anything else and thus everyone else can sit and spin while we wait... but whatever... we closed. We own now. It rules.
We went and dumped a bunch of cash on paint and started painting today. Man, the house is really really nasty in terms of the color of the walls. They were white in the past. They are brown and yellow now. Truly nasty. But the ceilings in 2/3 got painted today... so it is getting done, and it is gonna look amazing when we are done. By next weekend it is gonna rule.
I'll have pics with before and after. SO EXCITED.
So tomorrow is more painting. painting sucks, but it looks really nice when it is done.

we close tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow... sure the seller's attorney is a giant fucking fool and the time/location has changed no less than 4 times in the last 24 hours, but whatever I guess. So long as we close. Mental giant Sam Melazano or something (the seller's lawyer) decided a good place to have a closing on a house in chicago with buyers, realtors, and lawyers from chicago would be of course in... Oakbrook! Thanks jackass.
So long as it all works out, I guess I don't care that much. He keeps getting it royally close to NOT happening, so I am just going to shut up and let it go.

Why must people say shit like this? It doesn't even make sense!?! The obvious irony of using a nuclear weapon to take out a large geographical area, arguably full of civilians, in response to a group of extreme people WHO LIVE IN EUROPE.... It is just so stupid. It makes all americans look like ignorant fools.
This is the same person who thinks we should use racial profiling for anyone who isn't clearly white, black, or hispanic, and who thinks every muslim wants to kill every westerner. The same one that thinks that while I don't believe in god, I really DO, I just don't know it yet and I will come around eventually.
This style of thought is doing nothing but perpetuating the very thoughts that cause many in the world to hate americans. It is just so frustrating. And so many americans are that unaware of the world outside of our borders. Of course, she does hate indians, she is so openly racist that she refers to them as "dot indians" to differentiate them from native americans.
So I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a small town raised racist who likes to push her OWN ideology on others would decide to send such a ignorant statement to her entire office. I am just so amazed that she is that fucking stupid.
